China is relative a new market for patient lifts. With the growing population of elderly people, which has exceed 17%, up to 250 million in China. More and more home care & nursing requirement are needed. New caring giving facilities are in operation or under construction, government policy also support this new and growing industry. To take care of the elder will be a great work, and also huge opportunity for lots of companies and service providers in this field.

Patient lifts, several years ago are still very rare, with only a few nursing centers have them, and are imported from overseas. With the economy development, China made patient lifts are growing rapidly, especially in recent years. Just in 2018, our own company, sold more than 4000 units domestically. And this year is still growing, so we moved our production base to a new and more bigger site. It is expected to reach 6000 units in 2019, just Bioway alone, for China market. And with several other counterparts, domestic market requirement annually could reach to 30,000 units or more.

Up to now, no overseas patient lifts brands are active here. But domestic players are competing fiercely. And China will be the largest single market for patient lifts in 5 to 10 years, exceed the US.
